Proposing a Vibrant Tourist Circuit for Togo: The Vision of the Pan-African Democratic Party

Established as a framework for debate and reflection, ‘Monday Politics’ is a program that takes place every Monday focused on the economic prosperity of Togo. It is an initiative of the Pan-African Democratic Party (PDP) to stimulate discussions.

Indeed, during the ‘Monday Politics’ show, the president of the PDP had the opportunity to explain the establishment of a tourist circuit with the construction of two monuments. With the approaching regional and legislative elections, Innocent KAGBARA, the president of the PDP, outlined the party’s societal project. Convinced of the noble ambitions that his party carries, Honorable Innocent KAGBARA intends to reassure by formulating concrete proposals. He states, « Our party continues to enrich its societal project, aiming for a worthy tourist circuit with the objective of attracting 10 million tourists to our country. »

Thus, a first monument in the prefecture of Agoe will symbolize the great men of Togo, which will be named Togolese Pantheon or Place of Great Men. It will have a central building to visit, gardens all around, and picnic areas. A second building in the prefecture of Golfe will celebrate Togo’s success: the NANA-BENZ Museum, with a commemorative plaque, water jets, a building with film screenings, and a concert venue.

We will establish a new tourism promotion agency to define a tourist circuit and promote it with tour operators outside the country.
